It’s a new animated movie (Short Film) that is absolutely breaking the internet, and it’s so necessary in today’s climate of intolerance and hate.
Love is Love.
It is about time that people are normalizing the LGBTQ community. You often see queer couples in movies, and it’s makes you insides warm. people are finally accepting others for who they are. Of course, in the end, love wins.
It was so cute; it made my insides feel all squishy and warm.
And I’m glad to say I’m not the only one who felt that way.
In a heartbeat was place along by ringling college of Art and Design students Beth David and Esteban Bravo as their IT animation thesis, however it’s currently taken on much more of a life than just a college project. It deals with young boy struggling to come to terms with his feeling for a handsome peer, a topic never previously explored by animated movie, and features an adorable jumping heat that is just begging to be made into a new pixar mascot. In just 4 min. , it captures the expertise of countless LGBTQ youth , and shows them that there’s nothing to be scared of.
The Florida students managed to successfully crowdfund almost 5 times their original estimated costs to produce the film through Kickstarter, and their hard work is paying off. Since hitting YouTube, In a Heartbeat has racked up over 5 million views, and everyone watching it is begging for a sequel.
